Fondant is a rolled sugar cake covering that has a smooth finish and allows for countless decorating possibilities. Fondant cakes are all iced in buttercream first and then covered with a thin layer of fondant.
Fondant-Covered Cakes can be individual cakes or tier cakes.
Weber’s Bakery makes fondant cakes in all of our cake sizes except for 7” small cakes and full sheet cakes. All of our wedding cake doughs and fillings are available for fondant cakes-whipped cream, fresh fruit, and custards are too unstable. Click here to see flavor options for fondant cakes.
Ordering Your Fondant Cake
We make a limited number of fondant cakes per week, so orders are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. When ordering a regular fondant cake, please come in at least 4-5 days in advance. When ordering a fondant tier cake, please come in at least one week in advance. Ordering in person allows customers to see more pictures and options for cakes, to sample the fondant if desired, and to sign off on the finalized order. We do not take fondant cake orders over the phone. Please Note: Spots for fondant cakes fill up fast, especially depending on the season, so call as soon as possible for more information, or stop in our store to place your order.
