Fondant

Fondant is a rolled sugar cake covering that has a smooth finish and allows for countless decorating possibilities.  Fondant cakes are all iced in buttercream first and then covered with a thin layer of fondant.

Fondant-Covered Cakes can be individual cakes or tier cakes.

Weber’s Bakery makes fondant cakes in all of our cake sizes except for 7” small cakes and full sheet cakes.  All of our wedding cake doughs and fillings are available for fondant cakes-whipped cream, fresh fruit, and custards are too unstable.  View our main Cakes page to see flavor options for fondant cakes.

Ordering Your Fondant Cake

We make a limited number of fondant cakes per week, so orders are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.  We need at least one week in advance for fondant cake orders, but spots do fill up fast.  We recommend coming in at least two to three weeks in advance to avoid this problem.  Fondant orders also must be placed in person in our store.  Ordering in person allows customers to see more pictures and options for cakes, to sample the fondant if desired, and to sign off on the finalized order.  We do not take fondant cake orders over the phone.  Please Note: There are a few times per year that we do not make fondant cakes due to holidays.  Thank you for your understanding.
